Jana Zawadzki Longtine, MD, is a hospitalist specializing in internal medicine. Dr. Longtine earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. She completed her internship and residency at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach. Before becoming a physician, Dr. Longtine worked as a certified nursing assistant. She fell in love with the medical profession and ultimately decided that diagnosing and treating critically ill patients was her calling. Her patient sense of humor, which puts them at ease when they are dealing with serious illness. In her spare time, Dr. Longtine enjoys exercising and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to English, she speaks fluent Spanish.
