Benjamin Thonar, MD, is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Thonar earned his medical degree from Rush Medical College of Rush University in Chicago. He completed his internship and residency at UC Irvine Medical Center. Dr. Thonar chose the field of internal medicine because of the wide range of medical conditions he could diagnose and treat. In addition, he wanted to form long-term relationships with his patients. Dr. Thonar's patients say they can count on him to be truthful with them a th my patients, he says. In his spare time, Dr. Thonar enjoys playing the piano, exploring new restaurants and spending time with his twin nieces.
