David Yashar, MD grew up in Atlanta, GA and chose to pursue a career in medicine-and specifically in hematology/oncology-because of the profound impact this specialty had on his life throughout his mother’s battle with multiple myeloma. Through working with patients from diverse backgrounds and exposure to a wide array of pathologies, I’ve grown into a well-rounded physician, embodying both versatility and compassion in my practice. Additionally, I actively engage in research projects in the field of hematology/oncology, drawing upon my academic background to contribute meaningfully to the field. I am dedicated to delivering the best care possible to my patients while simultaneously conducting research focused on enhancing patient outcomes. When he is not caring for patients or conducting research in the field, Dr. Yashar and his wife enjoy hiking and bird watching. He also loves learning the history of various cultures.
