She serves as medical director, Women’s Heart Disease at the MemorialCare Heart & Vascular Institute at Long Beach Medical Center. She received her medical degree from SSR Medical College in Mauritius and completed her internal medicine residency at The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Following that, she completed a cardiology fellowship at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center and a specialized fellowship in advanced clinical and research training in women's heart health and diseases at the Barbara Streisand Women's Heart Center, Cedar Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.
