Description
Dr. Hoang earned his Bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Berkeley, before attending medical school in New York. He returned to California to complete his residency program and a Cardiovascular Fellowship at the University of California, Irvine, where he was selected as “Chief Fellow” in 2009. He is also board certified in Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Hoang serves as the Medical Director, Emergency Cardiac Services at MemorialCare Heart & Vascular Institute at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center. Dr. Hoang has published multiple clinical articles, book chapters, and papers on cardiovascular topics. He holds a patent for an Intravascular imaging device developed through his work at UCI Medical Center. Outside of medicine, Dr. Hoang enjoys playing beach volleyball and golf, traveling, and most of all, making Sunday breakfast with his three young daughters.
