Andrew Yoon, M.D., serves as the Medical Director of Heart Failure at the MemorialCare Heart & Vascular Institute at Long Beach Medical Center. He is board-certified in Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology; Cardiology; and Internal Medicine. Dr. Yoon’s areas of research are focused on congestive heart failure and advanced cardiac imaging. He has published more than 50 research articles, abstracts, and textbook chapters, including a textbook on pericardial diseases. Dr. Yoon’s desire to specialize in cardiology began during his first cardiology rotation as a medical intern. There he saw firsthand how the smallest adjustments to a patient’s treatment could have a profound impact on their cardiovascular health and sense of well-being.
